Coffs Coast Bunker Gallery reopens with major new motoring exhibition
The Bunker Gallery featuring the National Cartoon Gallery and the National Holden Motor Museum opened to the public on Saturday 10 August, 2024 at 9am.
The National Holden Motor Museum is a new permanent feature and showcases a range of the motoring icon's history alongside 25 rare cars. The display of Holdens and cartoons provides a brand new visitor experience and deliver Australia's first dual cartoon and car gallery - the first of its kind in the world.
The National Cartoon Gallery will also reopen with a look at Australian politics with its latest exhibition, Politically Speaking. The collection of 165 cartoons from the gallery archives, represent the remarkable ways events over the past decade can be interpreted, with no politician or political story safe from scrutiny.
